I Am

I am the evening moon above the earth.

I wonder when the world will be at peace.

I hear the stars slowly fade to sleep.

I see the sun slip into complete darkness.

I want the world to be at peace.

I am the evening moon above the earth.

I pretend that killers don't exist.

I feel the coolness of Pluto on my feet.

I touch the rays of sun shining on the earth.

I worry that there will never be world peace.

I cry when people I know and love die.

I am the evening moon above the earth.

I understand that life isn't always fair.

I say that there are other life forms out there somewhere.

I dream that I discovered another galaxy.

I try my hardest to keep people happy.

I hope my future will be bright.

I am the evening moon above the earth.
