I am From

I am from over stacked bills

Feuds in the house about where the money will go

I am from insecurities

Big shirts and no pictures

I am from endless hours in the gym

Sweat and tears to be a better me

I am from understanding

Parents working a 9-5 to provide a better life for me and my sisters

I am from making decisions best for my family and I

Earning scholarships and awards so I can see my mom smile
