I Am...
Who are you?
Who are you to say that I am not good enough?
Why would you want to defeat the purpose of this life?
Shattered pieces of you empowers oblivion.
What we weave is not tangled webs, but series of events that have made us.
What are you?
You don't know, do you?
One more step, and you could be free,
with one more step you could forgive yourself.
You say you strive to be more, you strive to inspire and empower,
but endless nights with blackened wicks may prove you wrong.
Exhausted, dreamless nights,
you have waited to understand and relish your existence.
Maybe now you grasp the concept of defeat, and only now have you dealt a great hand.
Trust me, because I am you.
I am me, and I have defined gravity in all aspects of wonder.
Behind this mirror I seek that definition, but it is time to let go.
I need to escape to defeat the purpose of life, and to succeed.
I need to stop thinking I am not enough to pass the tests that complete who I am.
I know what I am, even though it does not show.
One more step, and I am free,
and with one step, I forgave myself.
I say I strive to be more, and I finally inspired, aspired, and found empowerment in myself.
Endless days of dreaming with lit wicks prove my existence has a purpose.
I am no longer exhausted. I found me.
Personal identity wants me to aspire to every aspect of my being.
You, mirror in my eyes, are proven indifferent, which I am not.
I fight you every day, myself, and I know who I am.
I am love, I am strong, I am free, and I am a tangled web of events that seem endless at times, but aren't.
Most importantly, I am nefelibata. I am nothing like you.
