I Am..
I am Bryn Gaston.
I am a proud daughter, and baby sister.
I am an aunt - It is what I do best.
I am a best friend, and I am a solace.
I am weak, yet I am strong.
I am a coward, yet I am brave. I love, yet I hate.
I am a survivor - A speaker for those who feel helpless.
I am a defender - A defender of both those I know, and those I do not.
I am a believer - A believer in total equality for all.
I am both a rock and one who leans.
I am hypocritical, and sometimes judgmental.
Every day I fight to change, but I am human.
I cannot be perfect.
I am passionate, and I love to help others.
I am introverted, but I do not mind.
I am flawed, but my flaws will never hinder me.
I am a Christian. I fail God, but I know I am loved.
I try to find beauty in everything.
I strive to always be understanding.
I am a good person.
I am a listener.
I notice all the little things.
I am insecure.
I am kind.
I am a dreamer - One of the biggest you will meet.
I aspire to be a special education teacher.
I dream of equality -
True equality for the earth.
I dream of my future, of both my successes and my failures.
I dream of an end to all fighting -
That countries can look past differences and become friends.
I am a feminist.
I am forgiving,
Although I do not trust easily.
Many days I am a pessimist,
Although I try to be optimistic.
I am young at heart,
Because I was forced to grow up too fast.
Most importantly, I am me.
I have found myself, and I do not intent to ever let go.
