I Am
I am the breeze through the forest on a cool day, cold enough for a sweater but not a jacket, the difference is small, I know, yet choices are infinite, I am the winding path that leads to nowhere land, yet you keep going forwards since there's no way to go back, I am the rustle of the leaves as they slowly blow away, one by one falling like angels from heaven to land on the ground, swallowed by dirt until they become the earth, I am the calm before the storm, waiting for the right moment before I blow, I am the stars in the sky, flickering with diamond light, close enough you feel you could almost touch, I am the earth, revolving slowly around the sun in an endless daze of days, until the sea rizes up and the sun expands to swallow me, I am the whispers of shadowed streets at night, whistling past, making people jump in fright, I am everything and anything there ever was, a culmination of past and future, history living inside me, dreams pounding inside me,
