I Am

I am a girl who loves many things

                                        Wonders what poetry is like

Hears screeching voices in my head

That want to be free

Seeing vision of my future

Pretends to be in another world

When I barricade thoughts out

Giving me a feeling of confusion

Touches the line of space

Revealing the dream of truth and lies

As I worry about the past effecting lifelines

Unraveling where I’m at;

Understands the concept of education

When it says life depends upon school

Hoping that I walk the stage

Heading into the world of reality

Trying to prepare for real dilemma

For I am the key to my own founding
