I Am

I am from warm hugs

I am from the smell of fresh laundry

I am from the sound of laughter

I am from freshly brewed coffee and tea

I am from an early February morning

I am from singing

I am from the strength of my mom

I am from the strong but gentle voice of my dad

I am from early Sunday mornings

I am from the love and kindness of my brother
