I Am

I Am I am what many describe to be strong Strong enough to have something tragic happen and still go on, I am a survivor of abuse Strong enough to endure it but also strong enough to finally put an end to the misuse, I am a conqueror I used to let situations overtake me I use to let them overtake me and feel I didn't have the power to be What everybody already doubted me of, But still i had the power to prove them wrong and rise above Intelligence is a must and being liked by everybody is just a plus So i stay quiet I move in silence to become the best me that I can be I am observant With eyes big and opportunities wide I take everything in stride No matter the circumstance, I take my stance and stand On my word and my beliefs I stand because I am me I am human Im not perfect but the big heart I have makes my life worth it I am Shakia Life's curveballs have molded me To be the Shakia I have become today.
