I Am
I’m a broker. I’m a loner. I’m a reject. I’m a realist. I’m a pessimist. I’m a friend. I’m a GIRL. All true but one not mention is that I’m a daughter of an immigrant family. I strive to do my best. I am the example for the rest of my family… my brothers, sister, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends. It is when so many people are putting you on a golden platform. They say that I can achieve my goals, but deep down they have doubts. HMmmm… what to do. I can prove them wrong or I can meet their expectations of failure. Only I can decide which path to take. No one can take action but me because THEY ARE NOT ME! Hate me, love me, envy me, ignore me, do whatever you like. I am a sister, a daughter, a champion, a role model. I AM A PROUD MEXICAN AMERICAN hoping to change today’s society into tomorrow’s greatness!
