I am

I am unique and loved

I wonder why things have to change

I hear the drumming of fingers on a desk

I see the road to my future

I want to make a difference in at least one person

I am unique and loved

I pretend to be strong

I feel the comfort of the places I could be

I touch the dew on a beautiful flower

I worry about making people proud

I cry when I think of those I have lost

I am unique and loved

I understand that I can do anything I set my mind to

I say “I love you” often and meaningfully

I dream of reaching perfection

I try to be better at everything I do

I hope people realize how special they are to me

I am unique and loved
