I am
I am the nervousness you feel when you lie to your parents
I am the cold sweat that runs down your back at 3am when things go bump in the night
I am the knot in your stomach ,anger ,I am rage
I am the hollow shell that you used to satisfy your loneliness
But make no mistake ,I will burn you to the ground and shove your ashes down your loved ones
throats till they choke on your meaningless remains.
I am the stars that illuminate your worthless life ,I am the knife that drives into your
chest when you stay up at night, plagued by suicidal thoughts
I am the sunrise ,that made you realize that life was worth living
But we were two broken pieces that didn't fit ,your crooked smile cutting into me and my hands
digging into your back ,I didn't see it but you did ,you saw we didn't fit and even now your smile
still makes a lump form in my throat ,makes my blood boil and my hopes wither and die ,but you
never saw me the for the masterpiece that I am ,so now I wish to enlighten you
Because I am not a toy, I am not a piece of meat
I am the roar of the ocean as the waves crash against the shore,
I am the thunder that shakes you to your core and the lightning that follows, beautiful but brief
And just like the lightning I will disappear from your life just as quickly as I entered it
You will never again touch the canvas that I am splashed upon because you are no longer the
stars in my sky but the ground beneath my feet ,buried six feet deep
