I Am

I AM

I am lazy and sad

I wonder about my past

I hear silence pushing through the crowd

I see the flowers dancing in the wind

I want for all the pain to disappear

I am lazy and sad

I pretend to have control of my life

I feel the wind rushing through the empty space

I touch the clouds

I worry what the future holds

I cry about the past

I am lazy and sad

I understand life is hard

I say I will rise

I dream my dreams will come true

I try my best to make this true

I hope good comes my way

I am lazy and sad
