I am

I am hopeful and loving

I wonder what I will look like when i am pushing 80 years old.

I hear rushing waves.

I see a mountain that I am climbing.

I want peace and serenity

I am hopeful and and loving

I pretend to have everything together

I feel strong gusts of wind on my cheeks.

I touch warm hands of guidance

I worry the world will crumble

I cry when I glance through old pictures

I am hopeful and loving

I understand that life moves fast

I say love is the most important possesion

I dream my future will be as bright as the stars

I try to forgive and forget

I hope hateful minds change

I am hopeful and loving
