I AM

I am more than what you see when you look at me…

I am more than the homeless man you see on the street…  I am a college graduate with a PHD

I am more than the teacher you see… I take care of my father who has Alzheimer’s that lost the memory of me

I am more than the football player on the field… I hide the bruises from home until they heal

I am more than the color of my skin you see when you pass me… none of the stereotypes they say are me

I am more than what you see when you look at me… so please do not judge me
