I am...

I am NOT the song of nature,

the chirps of the birds.

Not the dramas of life,

or the murmers of words.

Nor am I the size of mountains,

the strength of a chain.

I'm far simpler and just a tad more plain!

Open up a dictionary and where can you find me?

On a letter after 'x' and right before 'v'.

I am soft but visible,

kind yet shy.

In the background, comfortable between you and I...

So what am I?

Sweet NOT sour.

I am the silent, gentle, little WALLFLOWER!
