I AM

I am more than what you see

I am not just a body but a soul and my soul is louder than my voice ever will be

It sings my happiness when I defeat an obstacle because I am a fighter

It cries when I see my loved ones suffer because I am a lover

It giggles at a joke that's only in my head because I am a comedian

It remembers my past, bathes in the present and hopes for the future

I am my past

My past pains of lost opportunity, disappointment and rejection

I am my present

Hopeful and yearning for what will be. Waiting for what my inner self will bring out

In my soul I am a hero and a coward, a survivor and a child.

In short,

I am pretty normal
