I Am...

I Am…

I am a stereotype…

I am a “snob” because I do not speak unless spoken to

I am a “b*itch” because I walk down these halls with my resting face

I am “too good” because I like to dress nice

I am “a prep” because the people I hang out with are stereotyped the same as I

I am “built to be a man’s toy not a treasure” because my hips are wide and my waist is thin

I am a “slut” because I talk to guys that never make it to their first date

I am “too picky” because I have high standards for the guys I talk to

I am NONE of these things they say about me.

I am powerful because I know how to use my strengths

I am confident because I choose not to believe what is being said about me

I am independent because I’m a senior in high school with a job who goes to college after school

I am driven because I want the life my mother has

I am Kari Marcum

I am ME…
