I Am
I Am ..
Who am I?
Am I light?
Am I dark?
I Am curious
I Am Stark
I'm also inventive.
I'm also smart.
I do read.
I do draw.
I am creative,
and I am raw.
Who am I?
What do I do?
Do the things I do determine who I am?
Or I am I simply who I say I am?
Who. Am. I?
Am I a girl?
Am I a boy?
Or am I God's toy?
Do I react?
Do I cry?
Do I cheat?
Do I lie?
I wish I could fly..
Over all the judments of who people think I am.
Of what people think I do.
Of how people think I really act at home.
Home.
Is home apart of me?
Or did it just foster me?
Am I a mathematican's statistic?
Am I a man's submissive?
Am I a body?
Or aren't I a soul?
Do I love rings, silver-gold?
Or do I love earth, leaves, even mold.
Do I resent government?
Or do love Democracy?
Am I a hipocite?
Or am I God's greatest castrophre.
Who Am I?
I ask myself..
What a silly task.
To ask myself, what I am.
That's the job for another man.
How can I possibly know what I am.
If I cannot even Look myself square in the face?
How can I answer?
Who Am I?
I ask you.
I know my internals- all the abstract thoughts and theories
but when you step back..
what do you call the summation?
My frustation.
I don't know.
But I know myself..
no one knows that better.
But when my mouth is sown up like leather
My feet half eaten from the weather.
Will you tell them and I who I Am?
Will you send the message?
After having observed me for hours..
Watch me pick the flowers.
Can you let them know I'm something speacial.
