I am

You thought you could break me down.
You tried to change who I am,
And make me look like a clown.
You are nothing more than a scam.

You called me names,
Some I will admit were true,
but they don't define me.
I am done playing your games.

I shall no longer be your slave,
You have no control over me.
I'm going to come at you like a roaring wave,
I am done hiding, it's time to get brave.

Starting now I am  free,
Free from your chains of destruction,
I am going to be the real me,
It’s time to start my reconstruction.

I love to dance, even with my two left feet;
I laugh at things that aren’t funny .
Half on the time I am sweet.
I may not have that much money,
Yet I still have a good time.

People say I am mindless,
But I am more than people's thoughts,
My heart is filled with such righteousness

I am not your average women,
I’m far from  normal,
I am one in a billion.
I am me.
