I Am Like...

A devasted rainforest

Needing to be healed

Torn apart, long forgotten,

Lying in a chilling sight.

People walk past me,

But don't bother to even stop.

They don't want to look at

What they have caused

Burned, cut, scattered,

Lifeless I lay.

Little hope amongst my soul.

If only, they could plant

That one seed,

Which will heal me
