I Am

I Am

1.      The name of the game is to not flinch.

2.      Trapped is the music, trapped is the mind.

3.      They’ll have to drag me inch by inch.

4.      Despite this, I am as free as a finch.

5.      I’m sane, but all my mind’s nuggets have been mined.

6.      The name of the game is to not flinch.

7.      See the people; see me; prepare for the lynch.

8.      Egocentricity… Oh how right was Elkind.

9.      They’ll have to drag me inch by inch.

10.  How can beholding this life be a cinch?

11.  I’d ask aloud but wait, never mind.

12.  The name of the game is to not flinch.

13.  They see it; off by a hell more than a tinch.

14.  Who sanctioned their vision of me aligned?

15.  They’ll have to drag me inch by inch.

16.  Reflexory, sure, but no thank you, I won’t squinch.

17.  See me, see my solution, could it be too refined?

18.  The name of the game is to not flinch.

19.  They’ll have to drag me inch by inch.
