I am...
I'm not a pretty face,
or a number on a scale.
I'm not a number out of 4.0
or all the letters I don’t get in the mail.
I'm not the whispers in the halls
or the anxiety that I carry,
I'm not the ocd thoughts I have,
that always make me weary.
However I am the person I am,
filled with so much love,
the endless nights working,
to come out above.
I am all the people I adore,
like there is no tomorrow,
all the great times,
and even the ones that bring me sorrow.
I am so much more,
than the quiet girl in class,
I hope someone will notice
before too much time is too pass.
