I Am.

The person I wanted to become,

is not the person I am now.

You have your entire life planned out

to watch it crumble and fall.

College, friends, and life gets in your way.

You fall down yet fight to get back up.

You battle your demons just to prove your strengths.

Survivor.

That’s what I am.

I survived this rare disease

and I am still surviving.

I learned to fight the bad,

with the good.

I learned to build up my weaknesses

to become my strengths.

I learned that being who I am now

is exactly who I wanted to become.

I am perfect,

I am strong,

I am me.
