I Am
i am no poem to be written
no song to be sung with all your heart
i am not a blazing sun is the infinite cosmos
i am a human
nothing more
i am my scars and my illness
i am scarred and scary
i am broken and fragile
i am confused and completely sure at the same time
but i am no book to be read
no story to be repeated in the whispering halls
i am not my future
just a reflection of my past
i carry with me my guilt
and with me my pride
i am alone
and surrounded by love in the same sentence
i am flesh and blood
i am human
not your beautifully tragic poetry
not your midnight blues
not yours
i am a mess
i am tragic
i am human
