I Am From

I am from teddy bears

From a burning heater and vibrant evergreens

I am from the sparkling Lights and hopes of snow that I knew would never come

I am from art and glitter glue , walking down halls that felt like pre school

I am from the choirs sweet melodies and instruments charming songs, whose melodies lull me to a slumber of peaceful nights sleep

I'm from the demons who attacked at my weakest hours

I'm from the hidden Angels that lurk beyond the shadows of justice

I'm from the try-hards and she said he said and take a seat take a load off your feet

I'm from the sleepless nights of searching for something that was never there

I'm from the cusp of reality and fiction where the frontier is blurred

I'm from 3am confessions and 4pm naps

From the love I lost to another

From the love  I was too blind to see

I'm from the hidden faces of deceit and locked away for eternity

The kiss that lingered for a week

The eyes that tore my soul ever so sweetly

In the back of my mind sits a box

Quietly ticking

The poor souls who tried to attack me , all wanting to be free

To wreck my mind again
I am from those battles~

Broken before formed ~

Another mask in a sea of faces .
