I am

I am who I am

a woman with not just compassion and drive

but a bundle of emotion ready to crash dive.

My whole life, expected to be ready

for any situation, to exceed every expectation.

Be the one who watches out

be the one who's always there

be the one who offers a hand

don't, give deprivation.

I am a woman searching for reconciliation

for my past wrongs, for the people I've hurt.

I don't want to leave this earth, wondering

if I could've done more, for their appreciation

for their applause

not for their condemnation

like it's just a cause.

But the thing that beats me up inside

but the thing that hurts the most

is when people talk dirt

They don't think, they just do

don't wanna become one who desensitizes

with the new

don't wanna forget common values.

I am a woman pleading, seeking for adventure

an escape from the everyday norm

something that'll keep me at ease in the storm.

From the busy, robusk mahem

that morphs my thoughts

I don't wanna be trapped inside and torn

I want to be let free

Give me a heaven that'll soothe me like the sea.

I am a woman who's in love with the sky

who's in love with the earth, who's in love with the sea

because everything in it gives me life.

from the trees that sway, whispering something sweet

to the sea that gives me an everlasting ease.

It feeds my passion

fills me up with raw inspiration.

They are my hope, my divination.

I am a woman who finds joy in the stroke of a brush

colors layed out on the canvas

all I can hear around me is the wind's silent hush.

As the world around me goes quiet

I can feel my worries washing out

freeing from my fingertips

giving me a reason for no more doubt.

My eyes are pulsating with wonder

as I paint a world away from the blunder

there's no more thunder.

The way we live life, society is limited.

Put into groups like we're meant to be segregated.

Not all of it's fair, not all of it's true

people walk around with masks

hiding what they need to construe.

I am a woman who hides in my own mind

in thoughts intertwined

avoiding all the pointless distractions

yearning for the aligned.

Negative aspects that get me down

show me the euphoria and splendor of a triple crown.

I don't want to be hindered anymore

I just want to find that beautiful kinder.

I am a woman who is fascinated by love.

I see it in my family, in my friends

The thing that gets me the most is the passionate kind.

I crave the feeling of butterflies

this is the one I want to find.

The love that gives me dizzy spells

and makes me quiver inside.

I want a love that's everlasting and true

Not, one that will fade without meaning anything to you.

I am simply a woman with many ambitions

the ones that haunt.

I dream of the fantasy that every girl wants

wanting...to feel that happiness more than anything

so it'll gives me my everything.
