I Am
I am undefined and strong
I wonder about motives
I hear the stereotypes and mocks
I see the marks and bruises
I want all to taste true freedom
I am undefined and strong
I pretend not to be fazed
But
I feel hurt and rage
I touch the innocent with hopes for great futures
I worry about my hardworking mother
I cry for those who don’t have one
I am strong and undefined
I understand those that do wrong
But
I say harsh terms from a hard mouth
I dream of the absence of cruelty
I try to lessen it within myself and those that surround me
I am strong and undefined
