I AM FROM

I AM FROM

I am from that WOMAN over there

And  from the place where CANCER forms

I am from

I am from where black lives MATTER

And from where too many of my kind DEAD

DAMN
I AM FROM…

I am from the mother that is laying her kids to REST

I am from the place where FLOWERS are always LAID

I am from the CANDLELIGHT of prayer vigils

I am from

I am from where you might not see your 18 BIRTHDAY

I am from  where your mother has surgery… again

I AM FROM

DAMN

I am from
