I am From

I am from a home of silence

Solitude all around

I am from the fresh paved road

Riding my bike along the path

I am from the sweet smell of pies on Christmas

Pecan,apple and pumpkin

I am from tomboy to girly girl

Shorts and sports to dresses and lipgloss

I am from sadness

Alone in the world

I am from school

Desiring an education

I am from mountain adventures

The icy cold water around my knees

I am from a strict mom

Can't go out can't do anything

I am from the arts

Acting singing and dancing

Plays and musicals galore

I am from abandonment

My dad pretending i don't exist

I am from Charlie Brown movies

Game boards and prizes

I am from a never ending cycle

Trying to be the best me

I am from the picture perfect moments

Something new captured by a flash
