I am.

I am hurting. I use this term to describe me. A term in which used to express the “heavy-hearted” and “desolate” late night thoughts, swarming like bees. I embrace this term now, with full knowledge, knowing the actions needed to take place for such an effect to this cause. Though I recognize that such sorrow is feared and avoided, time is my friend , and with that I bring hope. People -hurt or not- bring so much negative attention to the word “hurting”, as they do not at “depressed” or over-reacting. Perhaps that can be no more. I want them to see me as one who can grow from such a negatively used term, one who fellow students / parents / “friends” have not been kind , but who can face the brutal truth of her downfall and make it bleed it’s own blood. As someone who’s hurting, I strengthen.
