I am
I am the mystery you don’t know and the reason you live.
I wonder if my beauty will be adored and saved from destruction.
I hear the horrible sound of metal machines cutting my wings.
I see their ambition, their horrendous ambition that provokes soul corruption.
I am the mystery you don’t know and the reason you live.
I pretend that my sons and daughters will one glorious day change.
I feel their terror, their massive terror that is a truth about to be revealed.
I touch my blood, my precious blood spilled by their hands of silver.
I worry about the ignorance, the obscure ignorance my children live in.
I am the mystery you don’t know and the reason you live.
I understand my light is not resplendent enough to illuminate their lost minds.
I say I was created to be the divine home of the once pure race.
I dream of the day, the magnificent day I can be with my adored children.
I hope my tears keep wetting the poor and my fruits feeding the needy.
I am the mystery you don’t know and the reason you live.
