I Am

Come, be still and lay in my arms;
No one can resist my many charms.
I'll keep you warm and you can rest your head
You'll never want to leave me, for I am your bed.

Eat a piece of me and you will smile
Looking foolish all the while
For I am chocolate, sweet and strong
For me, you will always long.

Read me and I'll give you knowledge
And I'll take you through life on the edge
For I am a book
Read in your favorite window nook.

Write in me and I'll make you happy
Tell me of stories cheesy and sappy
For I am your diary
Written for your eyes only to see.
