Because I keep all my feelings inside.
I am the girl who struggles every day,
Because I have A.D.H.D.
I am the girl who lives for music,
Because it is how I express myself.
I am the girl who knits socks,
Because I am part of the group Socks For Soldiers.
I am the girl who has moods like a roller coaster,
Because I am Bi-Polar.
I am the girl who doesn't trust easily,
Because my trust has been broken before.
I am the girl who gets hurt,
Because I care too much.
I am the girl who puts others first,
Because that’s who I am.
I am the girl who doesn't socialize much,
Because I was never allowed to.
I am the girl who loves science,
Because I can experiment.
I am the girl who is going to find a cure for cancer,
Because I have lost too many loved ones to cancer.
