I am..

I am heart broken devasted child.
I wonder if people know how I feel.
Curious about little kids like me,
who grow up without a dad.
I here my dad's voice every time I think about him.
I see his face every time I close my eyes.
I want everybody to feel my pain.
I am a heart broken devasted child.
I pretend like he was never here.
I touch him, hug him, every night in my dreams
wishing it was real.
I worry about my sister, wondering does she feel the same.
I cry myself to sleep every night.
I am broken hearted devasted child.
I understand he's gone, and never coming back.
I say the only man a little boy can depend on is daddy.
I dream and wish that I had one.
I try to hold back my pain and tears.
I hope the day I have my child, that these words will never come out of his/her mouth...
I am a broken devasted child.
