As I Am

Flawless me? Couldn’t be.

That’s a funny thought.

Well, then again…still, no:

I speak in a squeaky key,

My voice gets easily caught,

I refuse to slow

I take everything too seriously,

When I fail it feels like I’m shout,

Plus, I always need to know

I live between them and me,

I’m fickle, quite a lot,

My emotions easily show

Imperfections complete me- I’ll admit to my flaws

Maybe that’s perfections cause.
