I Am
First.
I dream.
Not just to dream,
But to imagine the world
How I wish it would seem.
Secondly.
I speak.
Not just to speak,
But to show how I am
Far from weak.
Thirdly.
I see.
Not just to see,
But to study what
Others wish to be.
Fourthly.
I touch.
Not just to touch,
But to feel the scars of
Another's life in a firm clutch.
Fifthly.
I breathe.
Not just to live,
But to hold your scent
Inside my heart, captive.
Sixthly.
I taste.
Not just to taste,
But to have the scent of love
In my heart, laced.
Lastly.
I love.
Simply to love.
I am,
A life.
