I AM

I am an ordinary girl.

I wonder why I keep having weird dreams every night.

I hear the trees dancing with the wind.

I see the whole world drawn out in a cartoon.

I want to be successful.

I pretend that I don't care.

I feel the warmth of my heart when I see him.

I touch the highest cloud there is to be found.

I worry that I'm not good enough to make someone feel special.

I cry about the people who struggle to make a living.

I am an ordinary girl.

I understand that not everything in life is free.

I say don't regret anything you do because in the end it makes you who you are.

I dream of meeting my favorite music artist: Lana Del Rey.

I try my best in making my parents proud.

I hope that this poem is good enough to describe the most authentic version of myself.
