I am . . .

I am from the unknown womb, the mother I will never know. I am from the parents, who raised me. From the ones I will always love. I am from music, the heart and joy of my soul. I am from snow-covered mountains that gleam in the sun. I am from playing at the beach. From swimming in the waves. I am from tennis racquets and cleats, from sprinting in the sun. I am from injuries and hurt. I am from concussions, from sprains and twists. I am from accomplishment and anguish. From maturing and resolving. I am from gumdrops and lemon drops, falling from the sky. I am from The Parent Trap. From the lines I know by heart. I am from Blue’s Clues. From the mysteries of life. I am myself, the one who knows everything. From the Tomb of the Unknown.
