I AM

I am torn apart / broken / but still willing to get fixed/ my Lord blesses me daily / I feel like I won the lotto / take a look at my quick picks/ I've never been a good poet but the gift that I harbor / would make secular rappers kick flips/ I am saved by grace / look at his amazing face / got a glimpse of the good word and now I am dazed in this place . / let the choir sing / que the mood music / I am relaxed / content with the fact that daily I am losing/ some one please tell my flesh that I am the one that's in control / bodies fall daily but we still get to keep our souls. /I am the one that you shouldn't fear / because both pain and misery used to dwell here/ we are of the same fate born to die from the day that we all first laid awake/ blood streams through my viens / but this life on earth will one day be taken away. / so I shoot for eternity / dodging those back stabbing bible thumber remarks like fresh bullets wounds burning me/ I am human/ born to make mistakes / get angry enough to have my head fuming/ I am One Minded / divided by my beliefs / all the same I cling to the faith of a God who's speaks words like I AM HE ...
