I am a young girl

Aspiring to be an astronaut despite what I am constantly taught

I am a teenager

Pressured to fit in with the rest that are apparently the best

I am a young adult

Confused with what the world has to give as I live 

I am a student

Striving to get all answers correct to perfect 

I am a Muslim

Stereotyped because people see only the actions of one group displayed on the TV

I am a daughter

Wishing to make my parents proud while still remaining on my own dream cloud

I am a robot

Asked to regurgitate information that is viewed as “learning” in our nation

I am a college applicant

Trying to impress merely to have success

I am a human

Living in a world of decorum
