I Am From
I am from sadness and depression.
From having to be watched
And from having someone love me,
Who I can't possibly deserve.
I am from getting what I want
Even after I lost their trust.
And feeling like crap
Every single day
Because I know I deserve it.
I am from trying to be a good person
But I am worse than I ever imagined.
I am from faking the emotion I show
And acting like I am okay
When I know,
I am about to break.
I am from everyone telling me
It just takes time,
I'm going to be okay.
I am from wandering when
That time will come.
I am from the hope
That one day I will feel happiness again.
But right now,
I am from the place
When I know,
It will not be
Okay.
