I am

I am vulnerable to racial slurs by those who do not understand the importance of diversity.

I am affected by verbal abuse by those who are scared of me.

I am scared to face my fears in a society that discourages stepping out of my comfort zone.

I am not smart enough to survive in a world full of doctors and innovators.

Trusty friends and family surround me, I am loved.

People look to me for direction and help, I am a leader.

Mistakes and critiques are stepping stones, I am strong.

Positive and negative feedback sway my emotions, I am human.
