i am

Who am I?

I am the way I style my hair
I am the way I wear my clothes
I am the rhythm of my stride
I am the way I articulate my words
I am the way I laugh
I am the way I cry
I am the way I smile
I am the way I think

I am sometimes what I'm pressured to be
I am sometimes who you want me to be
I am sometimes the way you want me to wear my hair
I am sometimes the way you want me to wear my clothes
I am sometimes not as confident as I want to be
I am sometimes not as confident as I need to be

So,

I strive to be as confident as I want me to be
I strive to be as confident as I need me to be

The truth is, I am still learning who I am
So for now,

I am the way I style my hair
I am the way I wear my clothes
I am the rhythm of my stride
I am the way I articulate my words
I am the way I laugh
I am the way I cry

I am the way i smile

I am the way i think

I am me
