I Am From

I am from late nights, becoming a spoiled princess without a fight.

I am from music, sick beats and cool jazz; you know the kind that makes you feel like a cool ass.

I am from pancakes in the morning with please and thank you after every request.

I am from Detroit, a place that has a classical mixture of hood and beauty with a sprinkle of magic.

I am from the depths and the hidden back ways of music.

I am from love...
