I am

I am unique

I wonder why sometimes I am not accepted

I hear the cries of the aching

I see so much confusion

I want to make a difference

I am not your average teen

I pretend to not care

I feel determined to help others

I worry of who I may disappoint

I cry because I feel stuck

I am anxious

I understand I have to live a better life

I say “lord be my strength”

I dream of being a great man

I try to not focus on negative remarks

I hope to surpass every obstacle

I am strong
