I Am.....

I am a beautiful black female

who is told I cannot live better than the hood

I am better than the statistics

that say all black females are rude

and that all black females are juvenile mothers

I am more than a statistic

I am a beautiful black leader

Someone that wants to proves those statistics wrong

having faith in god that going off to college

and becoming a better WOMEN

oh yes, thats me

I am a BLACK WOMEN

not afraid to test the waters of those statistics

but also to prove to the white man I am strong

because I will succeed better than he will see

that I am not just a statistic but

I am a beautiful black woman
