I am from

I am from water. I float like an otter. I stroke like it’s slaughter. And go ‘till its hotter. It’s no question I’m from the pool. Where the water is so cool, but you can’t act like a fool. After all, it is still school. But I don’t swim just for fun. I swim for hours till my arm feels like tons. And if you think it’s a long run, just know that you are never done. It will get cold, it will get hot. But I’ll never ask whether were done or not. I’ll assume I have 5000 yards more to go, because in the end, I’ll never know. But my time to shine is when I go to meets to compete against schools who I’ll know I’ll eventually beat. But to compete against the best is very hard, but for me, I’m just glad I swam my 500 yards. This is where I’m from, swimming ‘till I’m numb. I am a swimmer. And will swim till my time comes.
