I am...

I AM...

I am tubby

I am the girl that got called out for not being a size 0

I am the girl that hid behind the chips and cookies,

the girl who hated swimming in front of her peers

I am the girl that stood up for being bullied

I am the girl that hid her sadness to help other people to be happy,

who would make a frown into a smile so her parents didn’t ask questions

I am happy,

at least I thought I was

I am beautiful,

no matter my size

I am the girl that doesn’t listen to those kids anymore

I am the girl now who is happy with who she is

I am strong

I am confident

I am me.
