I Am...

I was cold, I was dark

It was like I had no heart.

I was ugly, I was rude

To everyone. Maybe even to you.

I was angry and I knew this wasn't me.

I had to stand up and be the change I wanted to see.

Now I am happy and kinder in my ways

I am not the person that I was yesterday.

I am exited to say that I am finally free

To be the best person I know I can be.

I am that person and that person is me.
