I Am

a young bud i sit

in my garden i grow,

the sun shines down

giving us life and hope.

A young bud i am

and hope to always be.

one day the sun faded away

rain fell from the sky as light danced aross it

the wind picked up and took me with it.

A young bud i am

scared as could be

in danger and alone.

With no one to help

i must save myself

i shot down my roots

grabbing close to the earth

i dug myself in taking root in the dirt

The sun retuned as i grew tall.

A flower i became

brave and strong.

A flower i am

and a proud one, at that
